As we head into Week 16 of the NFL season, it’s time for a look at the top cash game plays in FanDuel DFS games for fantasy football purposes.
Winning FanDuel cash game lineups continue to have one common theme across them. If you can have an accurate projection on a player’s potential targets and volume within an offense, you can find the best cash game plays of the week. That’s our overall goal here within this weekly article. Fine-tuning the best process in order to play the highest scoring cash game lineups possible. Let’s see what Week 16 has in store for us.
Quarterbacks
Unlike DraftKings, quarterback pricing on FanDuel remains a weekly challenge for us to find the perfect combination of floor, ceiling, and value.
It’s another ugly week, but there’s a case to be made for Andrew Luck as one of the top cash game quarterbacks this week. The Giants aren't an imposing defense to play against — their defense has our No. 21-graded pass rush and their coverage grade comes in at No. 16. The Colts average the fewest seconds per snap in the league, pushing the pace and adding more play volume in their matchups. That just means more attempts for Luck against this Giants secondary. Luck has thrown for multiple passing touchdowns in 11-of-14 games this year and ranks fourth among all QBs in fantasy points per game.
It’s difficult to beat Josh Allen’s consistency and price combination when looking for a cash game QB this week. He's averaged 24.3 FD points per game over his last four outings, scoring at least 19.8 in every matchup. Allen's rushing game provides a high floor for us to rely on, with him rushing for at least 99 yards in three of his last four games. His matchup with the Patriots means the Bills will likely be throwing a ton (13-point road dogs). Allen leads all quarterbacks in percentage of passes 20-plus yards (21.3%) and makes him a great stacking option with Robert Foster in tournaments (24.0-yard average depth of target).
