Free-agent acquisition budget (FAAB) leagues level the playing field for nabbing fantasy free agents after each week of the NFL season. They also allow fantasy managers to employ a great deal more strategy when acquiring players because each team has a limited amount of dollars to work with.

All players in this article will be rostered in less than half of Yahoo leagues unless otherwise noted. Here is how you should be allocating your FAAB heading into Week 10.

WR Curtis Samuel, Carolina Panthers

Suggested FAAB Spend: 5%

Samuel was listed as a waiver wire trap last week, but he has now scored a touchdown in three consecutive games. He is becoming increasingly involved in the offense at the expense of D.J. Moore. Samuel was target nine times this week and brought down all of them for 105 total yards and a touchdown.

He also logged three carries for 13 yards. Samuel has now been targeted at least five times in each of his previous four games. He’s running unsustainably hot in the touchdown department and is now worth spending a small portion of the FAAB budget on.

TE Jimmy Graham, Chicago Bears

Suggested FAAB Spend: 10%

Graham remains the best tight end who can be had off waivers in over half of Yahoo leagues. That has been the case for most of the season, and it remains unchanged after Week 9. Graham reeled in all six of his targets for 55 yards and a touchdown this week. He has at least five targets in all but one game this year.
