Another weekend of NFL action is upon us, so it’s time to start preparing DraftKings lineups for what should be an exciting Week 2.
I had my fair share of hits from Week 1 in DFS — Josh Jacobs, Matt Ryan, Josh Allen, Cam Newton, Logan Thomas, Anthony Miller — so our process will remain the same in an effort to identify the best plays and values across the slate and ensure a profitable Sunday.
I’ll break down the entire 12-game main slate here and discuss my favorite picks for all the positions (D/STs included) for both cash and GPP contests.
And as a sneak peek, this will be the first week we won’t be locking a $10K Christian McCaffrey into every cash lineup.
High-Tier Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys ($6,800)
Prescott projects to be one of the highest-rostered quarterbacks on the main slate in Week 2, and that's because of the Atlanta Falcons’ defense. They were absolutely shredded last week by Russell Wilson (31.7 fantasy points) and there’s no reason why Dak won’t be able to repeat that success in this easy home matchup.
Prescott threw for multiple touchdowns in all but one home game last season and averaged 327 passing yards per game.
I definitely want to pair Prescott with Michael Gallup ($5,600) or CeeDee Lamb ($4,700), with a slight lean toward Gallup considering the Falcons allowed the third-most receiving yards to outside receivers in Week 1.
