2024 Fantasy Football Rankings: Christian McCaffrey remains at No. 1, WRs dominate the first round

• A wide receiver-heavy first round: While Christian McCaffrey remains on top, the early parts of the first round will be dominated by wide receivers who consistently rank well in fantasy points per game.

• No quarterbacks or tight ends in the first two rounds: With the emergence of players such as C.J. Stroud, Jordan Love and Brock Purdy at quarterback and Trey McBride, Sam LaPorta and Dalton Kincaid at tight end, all 12 teams in a 12-man league can find a quarterback and tight end later in the draft.

• Over 20 rookies in the top 150: The combination of an excellent rookie class and a few quarterbacks and tight ends who are expected to be picked top-10 means there will be plenty of rookies finding their way onto fantasy rosters.

With the conclusion of the 2023 fantasy football season, these way-too-early 2024 fantasy football rankings are an initial look at how players could be ranked this summer.

Player movement in free agency will have a big factor on the rankings, particularly at running back. For now, players expected to be unrestricted free agents are marked as free agents in the team column. We are still two weeks away from when underclassmen need to declare for the NFL draft, so we've included players listed on our draft big board and will update when that deadline passes.
