Welcome to the Week 6 DraftKings Tournament Guide! This Guaranteed Prize Pool overview covers the main slate on DraftKings and how to approach the week with roster building strategies, games to target, and cheap salary-saving dart throws that could reach their ceilings this week. Let’s get right into Week 6 and analyze how we should be approaching the main slate for tournaments this week.

Roster-building strategies

Pivot to lesser-owned games

In cash games, ownership should be the least of our concerns. We’re just looking to roster the best lineup we can put together under the salary cap.

When it comes to tournaments, ownership should be something you keep in the back of your mind, but not something that leads to suboptimal plays just because they’re low-owned. It’s no surprise that this week’s highest-scoring game on the main slate (Tampa Bay at Atlanta) will draw a ton of ownership according to our DraftKings ownership projections. There’s nothing wrong with playing chalk, but if you’re targeting this game, you may want to get a bit more creative than just a Jameis Winston/Julio Jones/Cameron Brate stack.

With that game slated to soak up a majority of the ownership, it can sometimes be wise to aggressively pursue other matchups that should come in at a fraction of the ownership while sprinkling in the good chalk.
