Welcome to the DraftKings tournament guide for Week 4 of the NFL season. This GPP overview covers the main slate and how to approach the week in fantasy football with roster building strategies, games to target, and cheap salary-saving dart throws that could reach their ceilings this week.

Let’s analyze how we should be approaching the main slate for tournaments this week.

Roster-building strategies

Differentiate lineups by spending up at wide receiver

A plethora of wide receivers are priced under the $5K mark this week. You can build a powerhouse squad just by supplementing cheap wideouts with stud running backs and build some great-looking lineups.

One way to stand out from the crowd this week in the large-field tournaments is by taking a heavy-WR approach and paying up for two or three of the high-end studs at wide receiver.

The highest-priced wide receiver on the board this week is Michael Thomas. After catching 38-of-40 targets thrown his way through three weeks, it’s no surprise he’s the top wideout. He’s got a fantastic matchup this week against NYG’s Janoris Jenkins in a game with the second-highest projected total on the main slate (50 points). Jenkins is our No. 55-graded corner and has allowed the fifth-most receiving yards so far this season.
