The goal of this weekly DFS tournament picks article is to identify at least one player per week who is in the winning DraftKings Milly Maker lineup at less than 15% ownership. Last week was a mixed bag, including a solid hit on Joe Burrow to capture immense volume out of the Bengals' passing offense. However, the laughable two-catch, two-yard and two-touchdown performance out of Mike Evans basically summed up the rest of the week.
We are onto Week 4.
TE Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins (2% projected ownership)
The tight end position has been rough through the early part of this season, but Mike Gesicki's emergence (89.8 PFF grade, second) has been one of the few bright spots. I was stunned to see his projected ownership for this week at 2% and TE14, especially considering the whopping 54-point total in Seahawks versus Dolphins on Sunday.
The Seahawks have completely shut down tight ends this year, thanks in large part to Jamal Adams being in the fold, but there is a good chance that Adams does not play this week due to a groin injury. Even still, Gesicki is not your prototypical tight end — he is more of a jumbo slot receiver with a 79% slot snap rate, 105 slot yards (second) and two slot touchdowns (first) this season.
