We made it — Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season is finally here. Week 1 in a typical NFL season is wacky enough, and this year's truncated offseason and lack of preseason games will make for crazy and unexpected fireworks. Week 1 is the best time to shoot for the moon and fade the chalk in DFS tournaments.

There will be no Christian McCaffrey, DeSean Jackson or Antonio Gibson suggestions in this article, as they are projected to be the three highest owned players on the main slate. Instead, we want to find this year’s DeSean Jackson — an 8.4% owned player who pops off for 38.4 DraftKings points with an 8-154-2 receiving line and is in the Millionaire Maker winning lineup.

It’s going to require a massive score to ship a DFS tournament on DraftKings or Fanduel in Week 1, and here at PFF, we have all the fantasy football and DFS tools to set you up for success.

Let’s get into the DFS tournament picks.

RB Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers

Surprisingly, Aaron Jones has not been much of a buzz-worthy player this offseason despite scoring a league-high 19 touchdowns in 2019. That lack of hype combined with a seemingly tough matchup against the Vikings is tempering expectations. His Week 1 PFF consensus ranking is just RB14, and his ownership projection is below 3%.

First and foremost, Jones has completely owned the Vikings in their past three matchups — check out his dominant stat lines:

    • Week 16 (2019): 160 yards, 2 TDs
    • Week 2 (2019): 150 yards, 1 TD
    • Week 12 (2018): 93 yards, 1 TD
