Fantasy Football: DFS tournament picks for Week 17

The goal of this weekly DFS tournament picks article is to identify at least one player each week who is in the winning DraftKings Milly Maker lineup at less than 15% ownership. Last week, we scored hits across the board with Giovani Bernard, Allen Robinson II, Amari Cooper and Hayden Hurst.

And yet, these four players left a lot of fantasy points on the field. Samaje Perine wrestled hold of the Bengals' backfield, tallying a 96-2 rushing line. Cooper dropped what should have been an easy touchdown, and Robinson did the same.

Football is a weird game with an oblong-shaped object. Improving at DFS requires you to appreciate that process is infinitely more important than results. More important than the specific players that you land on is the reasoning and decision-making that led you to those players in the first place.

With that, here are the Week 17 DFS tournament picks.

WR T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts (4% PROJECTED OWNERSHIP)

The Colts have everything at stake in Week 17, needing a win over the Jaguars to keep their playoff dreams alive. It would make all the sense in the world for Indianapolis to feature its No. 1 wide receiver in T.Y. Hilton. He is awkwardly priced at $5,800 and is unlikely to garner significant ownership.
