The goal of this weekly DFS tournament picks article is to identify at least one player each week who is in the winning DraftKings Milly Maker lineup at less than 15% ownership. We had a mixed bag last week with DeVante Parker becoming unplayable after Tua Tagovailoa was surprisingly active, Miles Sanders imploding along with the rest of the Eagles' offense, and Josh Reynolds being inexplicably benched in favor of Van Jefferson.
However, we nailed the most important game stack on the entire slate in attacking the Browns' and Titans' passing games while fading the uber-chalky Derrick Henry and Nick Chubb. That is GPP life in a nutshell. What you get wrong is less important than what you get right. If you can correctly identify a contrarian way to stack up a game and that game then goes completely bonkers, you will position yourself for an extremely successful DFS weekend.
Not only are you blowing past the field via sheer raw points, but you are also essentially accumulating double points by shooting ahead of everyone who incorrectly stacked that game (for example, every Henry and Chubb roster in Week 13).
Let's keep that in mind as we build our DFS rosters and attack the tournament picks for Week 14.
WR A.J. Brown, Tennessee Titans (9% PROJECTED OWNERSHIP)
This week’s DFS slate presents us with the exact same Tennessee Titans scenario as Week 13 — one of the highest game totals on the entire slate, at 53. Derrick Henry is extremely expensive at $8,700 and will be the most popular running back on the slate in a juicy matchup. A Titans wide receiver is coming off a monster performance (this week, it's Corey Davis; last week, it was A.J. Brown) and projected at very high ownership.
