We’re back once again with our weekly look at stacking options in the DFS fantasy game. Just like any strategy option in DFS, there are multiple ways to grab value from stacking. You can pay up for your stack and find two of the highest-scoring players in all of DFS that week. Sometimes, you can even find two of the highest scorers without paying up and instead finding value in the middle range. And of course, you can win using my favorite strategy — bargain stacks that allow you to find game-winners in the rest of your lineup.
(These stacks are not specific to FanDuel or DraftKings unless signified in the writeup.)
Drew Brees, QB, and Michael Thomas, WR, New Orleans Saints
Thomas continues to be criminally underpriced on both DFS sites, but specifically on DK. If not for a few questionable penalties, Thomas would have broken out in Week 15 with multiple touchdowns. Run the Brees-Thomas stack back in Week 16 and enjoy the low ownership due to the perceived notion that the Saints’ passing game is no longer what it used to be. Sure, the Saints are now a run-first team, but the Thomas-and-Brees connection has improved in the last month and the wide receiver draws a top-15 individual matchup against Falcons CB Robert Alford.
