Season-long fantasy football feels like a distant memory, but the good news is that you don’t have to stop playing fantasy football just yet. We’re here to discuss stacking options for the Divisional Round of the playoffs for those in DFS.
Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes, QB; Tyreek Hill, WR; Travis Kelce, TE
There isn’t much argument against playing the Chiefs big three the first chance you get during the postseason. Sure, the Colts defense has been much improved from 2017 to 2018, but they still finished the season ranked No. 16 in pass coverage and No. 26 in pass rush. That’s not going to cut it against Andy Reid with two weeks to prepare at home. The Colts have played a strict zone defense with very little variations post snap for the vast majority of the 2018 season, and while that style was fine against a Houston Texans team with no threat at tight end and their deep threat (Will Fuller) on injured reserve, the same cannot be said against the Chiefs. This stack is expensive, and it’s fair to assume it will also have high ownership, but it’s worth it.
