Full slates of football are back. We’ve made it through the bye weeks and Thanksgiving’s Thursday slate, and we’re arrived at the other end of the tunnel with tons of games to choose from for FanDuel action once again.
This is great because A) it’s more football, and B) it gives you more flexibility when building lineups. But you also have to be mindful not to become a prisoner of choice. You have about three more games to choose from, which means six more quarterback options, 8-14 more running back options, 10-15 more receivers, and 6-8 more tight ends.
To help you prep for this big week, here’s a look at several FanDuel cash game strategies you can deploy in Week 13.

The Box: The first row within each tier represents the average salary of every player in that tier. The second row represents the average projected fantasy points for every player in that tier. The third row is the average value of each player in that tier (points/salary*1000). The Box is also color coordinated within each position throughout the tiers.
Quarterbacks: Aiming in the middle or higher
Based on the Box, quarterbacks in Tiers 1-3 range should be popular in cash games this week. It’s not a week you can pay way down at the position, but you aren’t forced to pony up, either.
For cash game quarterbacks, aiming for large home favorites is always a good place to start. This week’s big home favorites include Marcus Mariota, Blake Bortles, Philip Rivers, Jared Goff, and Derek Carr.
As you can see, this week, the strategy of just aiming for big home favorites doesn’t exactly produce the best-looking list of options. Rivers might end up being the chalk as a great value play against the Browns, and Goff isn’t too far behind either. Carr, Bortles, and Mariota have all struggled with consistency, and it’s tough to get behind them in cash games.
