We’re back again with our look at the top strategies and approaches to the week in FanDuel cash games.
The final week of byes are upon us, and we have a bunch of good players missing out on main-slate action, with PIT-TEN on Thursday night and SEA-ATL on Monday night.
There are also a lot of great players in tough matchups this week, so if you’re normally a stars and scrubs player, this week might feel odd for you.
Here’s a look at several FanDuel cash game strategies you can deploy in Week 11.

Week 11 outlook: FanDuel pricing and projections

RB | $8000+ | $7000-$7900 | $6000-$6900 | $5000-$5900 | $4600-$4900 |
WR | $8000+ | $7000-$7900 | $6000-$6900 | $5000-$5900 | $4600-$4900 |

The Box: The first row within each tier represents the average salary of every player in that tier. The second row represents the average projected fantasy points for every player in that tier. The third row is the average value of each player in that tier (points/salary*1000). The Box is also color coordinated within each position throughout the tiers.
Quarterbacks: Something at every price point
There’s a lot of green in The Box this week, which means we may finally be able to comfortably pay down at quarterback again in cash this week.
Among the cheaper options, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Eli Manning are both in plus matchups with cheap price tags. Fitzpatrick also gets Mike Evans back this week, which is a huge boon.
There are a handful of quarterbacks in the mid range that are temping at looks-low price points, but many of them have tough matchups. Blake Bortles (vs. Cleveland) actually seems like the best option in the mid-$7,000 price range. But any time I start to think it’s a Bortles week, I get nervous. Proceed at your own risk.
Just because paying down is viable this week doesn’t mean it’s the only option. Tom Brady and Carson Wentz both have good matchups — it’s just really hard to pay $8,600-plus for a quarterback.
One of my favorite plays is actually Alex Smith at $7,900. He’s not too expensive, and his matchup against the Giants is arguably the best of the week. The Giants have yielded 20 touchdowns to quarterbacks this year, which is tied for most in the NFL.
