We’re into Week 16 of the 2018 NFL season, and now it’s time to identify our top fantasy football bargains for DFS players this week.
Finding bargains and values in DFS is the key to any winning roster, both in cash games and tournaments. Our goal today is to find you the best bargains for your cash games and tournaments. We will specify what games to use each bargain in and how to capitalize on them in each given week.
High ownership is to be expected from some of these bargains, and we will touch in that in the write up, so they should be used in cash games. However, some of these players are also excellent buys for tournaments and won’t have high ownership percentages. Generally speaking, quarterback is the one position where ownership tends to be spread out the most — in other words, feel free using these bargains both in tournaments and cash games.
Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Roethlisberger’s home/road splits aside, he offers excellent upside in a game projected to be the highest-scoring of the slate. Roethlisberger also benefits from a matchup against a New Orleans defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and the most to opposing wide receivers. Overall, it’s a weak slate for quarterback value.
Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys
Prescott was a disappointment in what appeared to be a solid Week 15 matchup, but he should bounce back against the defense that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. This is our favorite matchup among all the quarterbacks priced in the QB2 range.
