Finding bargains and values in DFS is the key to any winning roster, both in cash games and tournaments. Our goal today is to find you the best bargains for your cash games and tournaments.
High ownership is to be expected from some of these bargains, and we will touch in that in the write up, so they should be used in cash games. However, some of these players are also excellent buys for tournaments and won’t have high ownership percentages. Generally speaking, quarterback is the one position where ownership tends to be spread out the most — in other words feel free using these bargains both in tournaments and cash games.
(Unless otherwise specified, these suggests are for both FanDuel and DraftKings.)
Alex Smith, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
This is the perfect buy-low spot for Smith after a dreadful Week 11 performance because he is back at home and matches up against a Bills team that is tanking on both sides of the ball following the questionable decision to turn away from Tyrod Taylor. Although Taylor returns in Week 12, the Bills have plummeted to No. 29 in pass rush on defense and their inability to consistently generate pressure should allow Smith to get the passing game moving again. Smith is priced lower than he has been since the early season mark.
Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons
Ryan is one of the biggest locks to perform this week and it’s shocking to see his DK salary so low. The Buccaneers pass defense has looked slightly better in recent weeks, but they still allow the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing QBs and they rank No. 22 in pass coverage overall. The Buccaneers don’t have the run game to keep Atlanta off the field and to slow down a Falcons passing offense that has rebounded strong in the second half.
