We’re into Week 10 of the 2018 NFL season, and now it’s time to identify our top fantasy football bargains for DFS players this week.
Finding bargains and values in DFS is the key to any winning roster, both in cash games and tournaments. Our goal today is to find you the best bargains for your cash games and tournaments. We will specify what games to use each bargain in and how to capitalize on them in each given week.
High ownership is to be expected from some of these bargains, and we will touch in that in the write up, so they should be used in cash games. However, some of these players are also excellent buys for tournaments and won’t have high ownership percentages. Generally speaking, quarterback is the one position where ownership tends to be spread out the most — in other words, feel free using these bargains both in tournaments and cash games.
Marcus Mariota, QB, Tennessee Titans
Mariota dealt with an injury that sapped his velocity earlier this season and the Titans offense was unable to consistently move the football. However, Mariota finally looked recovered from that injury in Week 9 and the Titans passing game would have put up even bigger numbers if the Cowboys kept up in the game. Now, Mariota enters Week 10 with a bottom-barrel price point again against a Patriots defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, and the game flow should work in his favor.
Andy Dalton, QB, Cincinnati Bengals
A.J. Green being ruled out with an injury provides a nice opportunity for DFS players to buy low on Dalton with a baked in advantage of making a contrarian play as ownership should be low. Having said that, we’ll take our chances with Dalton, who is notoriously more productive at home, against a Saints pass defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy point to opposing quarterbacks.
