• Denver Broncos wide receivers get shaken up: The Broncos opted for more youth at the position by releasing Tim Patrick and Lil’Jordan Humphrey.
• Young running backs move to the second spot: Both the San Francisco 49ers‘ Elijah Mitchell and the Green Bay Packers‘ A.J. Dillon landed on season-ending injured reserve, allowing other young running backs to move up the depth chart.

Fantasy football depth charts are a snapshot of where teams currently stand after the first week of the preseason. They look at where the players currently sit on the depth chart, primarily using preseason playing time and secondarily the team’s official depth chart. This is not a projection of where players will end up, particularly with several rookies who will likely move up the depth chart over time. The text above each chart was the most interesting takeaways from each team’s second preseason game.
The rosters are reflective of Monday morning. This will be updated late Tuesday or early Wednesday, reflecting all of the roster moves from roster cut down day.
