NFL free agency season is upon us. The franchise tag deadline has passed, and we now have a good idea of who will hit the open market. This helps motivate a lot of dynasty fantasy football enthusiasts to get to work on their rosters for 2021.

Fantasy football dynasty players know that the key to creating a championship-caliber team is to be active and to find value in the trade market. Trading can often be a headache for some, but it's worth it if you can pull off the right moves. To help figure out what the right moves are, I’ve been compiling a list of the best buy, sell and hold IDPs for every team in the NFL.

While there are always going to be extenuating circumstances when it comes to trades (contract leagues, multi-player deals, offers too good to pass up, etc.), these are some names to consider for IDP on each NFL team. We wrap up this series with the AFC South.

HOUSTON TEXANS

BUY: LB BENARDRICK MCKINNEY

If you’re looking for value at the linebacker position this offseason, Benardrick McKinney is your guy. He played in just the first four games of this past season, but he ranked top five in the league in total tackles (40). With McKinney’s season cut short due to injury, it seems that some are quick to forget about his value in IDP leagues.

Tyrell Adams stepped in to become an IDP darling in McKinney’s absence, leaving a lot of fantasy managers wondering if Adams can take over McKinney’s role long-term. The easy answer to this is no, he will not. First, Adams is set to become a free agent this offseason. And second, he just wasn’t very good in 2020, finishing with a 43.5 overall grade. He hasn't earned a 50.0-plus grade in any of his NFL seasons.

So, if someone in your league is sleeping on a very good IDP linebacker like McKinney, then go out and take advantage. McKinney is once again set up to succeed as a great IDP option, and he can be had for a significantly cheaper price tag than his Houston linebacker counterpart, Zach Cunningham, in large part because of this past season.
