San Francisco wide receiver Deebo Samuel (74.1 PFF offense grade) bears a WR15, 4.02 ESPN average draft position (ADP) entering his fifth NFL season. Playing alongside 2022 breakout rookie quarterback Brock Purdy (75.1 PFF passing grade), Samuel’s after-the-catch talents are perfectly suited for Purdy’s lethal short-area passing. Jeff Mueller, a fantasy football injury analyst, predicts a Week 1 green-light status for Purdy, describing the recovery as “unheard of.”
Purdy earned the starting role in Week 13 before suffering a season-ending UCL sprain in the NFC championship game. Samuel dealt with high ankle and MCL sprains in Week 14, resulting in five games played together for him and Purdy.
