Keeper fantasy football leagues continue to grow in popularity as fantasy managers are enticed by the unique spin on traditional redraft and dynasty formats. The typical structure allows fantasy players to keep a set number of players from one season to the next, typically based on previous seasons’ salary value or draft status.
If you’re in a league that doesn't penalize you for keeping players, your decision is fairly easy — simply keep the players who are ranked the highest compared to the current ADP.
Most keeper leagues do have a penalty assigned to players being kept, where a player drafted in the fifth round the previous year would then count as a fourth-round pick in the upcoming season. If a salary draft is utilized, a player is typically kept for 1.5 times the salary amount from the prior draft.
While there are many different formats and ways to play a keeper league, the most pressing offseason decision often comes down to which players to keep on your upcoming team.
So, if you’re participating in a keeper draft this year, this article focuses on providing actionable advice for you to dominate your league.

Before diving into the chart, here are a few tips:
• Find the player you're considering keeping and his value based on league scoring settings (Christian McCaffrey’s value score is 92.2 in PPR).
• Find the value score of the pick you're considering keeping the player at (e.g., the value of pick 2.01 in PPR is 55.0).
• Subtract the pick value score from the player's value score (e.g., McCaffrey’s score (92.2) minus pick 2.01 score (55.0) equals a keeper value score of 37.2).
• Repeat the process for other players and compare the keeper value score to find the best keeper for your roster.
