Now that the dust has settled on the 2024 NFL Draft, we will likely start to see some movement with some remaining free agents, especially as teams start to assess their remaining roster holes.
Here, we’re taking a look at five of our top remaining players and naming one potential landing spot for each.
CB Stephon Gilmore: Pittsburgh Steelers
Gilmore will turn 34 at the start of the 2024 season but has performed well in three one-year stints with different teams since 2022. He earned a 69.3 PFF coverage grade in 2023, allowing 734 yards and five touchdowns from 622 snaps in coverage while totaling 11 combined interceptions and pass breakups.

OL Connor Williams: Green Bay Packers
Williams' free agency has likely been delayed by the fact that he is coming off a season-ending injury, but it was a season during which he set a career high with an 86.5 PFF grade as the Dolphins' starting center.
At this point in the offseason, his best route to a long-term contract might be to sign a short-term, prove-it deal, and the Green Bay Packers could use the competition with Josh Myers at the position. Myers was one of the lowest-graded centers in the league in 2023, earning a 54.7 PFF grade. While the Packers also added Jacob Monk through the draft, Williams’ experience when fully healthy could be vital for a team that should be a competitor in the NFC in 2024.
WR Odell Beckham Jr.: Miami Dolphins
Despite it not being a prolific season in terms of yardage, Odell Beckham Jr.’s 2023 campaign with the Baltimore Ravens was still efficient. His 77.0 PFF receiving grade was the best among wide receivers in Baltimore, as was his 1.80 yards per route run. It’s unlikely that he will net the same type of deal he signed with the Ravens last year, but he could raise the floor of the Miami Dolphins‘ receiving corps.
G Dalton Risner: San Francisco 49ers
Risner wasn’t signed until midseason last year but is still a starting-caliber guard in the NFL, where he remains an above-average pass blocker. His 67.4 PFF pass-blocking grade in 2023 marked the fifth straight season where he earned a PFF pass-blocking grade above 65.0, with 30 total pressures allowed from 485 pass-blocking snaps.
Aaron Banks has started each of the past two seasons at left guard for the 49ers but is in the final year of his rookie contract. He earned just a 51.0 PFF pass-blocking grade in 2023.
