• Joey Porter Jr. finds a home with a familiar team: The Steelers and Porter make too much sense as a team-player pairing after Porter's father starred for the team.
• Jaxon Smith-Njigba pairs with the Seahawks: JSN in a receiver room that already contains D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett would do wonders for Seattle's already improving offense.
• Anthony Richardson matches up with the Panthers: The hottest quarterback prospect in the pre-draft process would join a young, up-and-coming roster with a great coaching staff.

Mock drafts serve as important tools for fans as they figure out who might be on the board when their team comes on the clock. But mock drafts are bound by the draft order; they don’t always put the players themselves in the best situations.
So we decided to change up the exercise and give you the top 32 players on the PFF big board and the best team fits for them. A few teams are used multiple times in this article, but let’s face it: some landing spots are just better than others.
QB BRYCE YOUNG, ALABAMA
- PFF Big Board Rank: 1
- Team Fit: Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis is going to be the preferred destination for a few of these big-name quarterbacks. In theory, the offensive line should bounce back from a forgettable 2022 season. They have a great running back to lean on, and their receiver room is on the up as they make additions. Teams that pick a quarterback high tend to not have great rosters around them. The Colts are at least further along.
DI JALEN CARTER, GEORGIA
- PFF Big Board Rank: 2
- Team Fit: Detroit Lions
If Carter makes it to Detroit’s pick, he would be a perfect fit. Adding a truly dominant three-technique is the last missing piece on that young and improving defensive line.
