What better time to look ahead to the 2022 NFL Draft than immediately after the 2021 NFL Draft? And specifically, let's dive into the quarterbacks we should be looking out for. Things can and will change in 365 days, but right now, we aren’t looking at the deepest quarterback class.
Oklahoma's Spencer Rattler is the presumed No. 1 overall pick, but after that, there is probably not another surefire top-10 pick in the group as things stand. One of the issues scouts will face when looking at this year's class is the number of top quarterbacks who play in either “superspreader” or heavy RPO-based offenses and how that limited their frequency of true NFL throws.

1. Spencer Rattler, Oklahoma
Rattler, the world's first Zoomer quarterback, is looking to be the third Oklahoma quarterback picked first overall in the NFL draft since 2018. A former five-star prospect, he sat on the bench as Jalen Hurts ran the offense in 2019 before taking over as the starter in 2020. Rattler is built more in the mold of Kyler Murray than former Sooners Baker Mayfield and Hurts.
