The 2024 tight end class is led by Brock Bowers, one of the most productive college tight ends we’ve ever graded.
Bowers should be a top-10 pick, but after that, there’s a decent gap between him and TE2. Ja'Tavion Sanders and Erick All could be called in the second round, and players such as Cade Stover and Ben Sinnott could be solid depth options for the middle rounds.
Here are the top tight ends in the class.

1. TE BROCK BOWERS, GEORGIA
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 7
Outside of being on the smaller side, Bowers is a dream tight end prospect who can be an impact player in the slot, out wide and inline. Add in his reliable blocking ability on the line and in space, and you have an ultimate chess piece offensive weapon with All-Pro potential.

2. TE JA'TAVION SANDERS, TEXAS
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 43
Sanders is a Tier 1 athlete for the tight end position. He is still mastering the nuances of tight end play, and he needs more of a mean streak consistently as a blocker. However, even with those concerns, what he brings to the table as a vertical threat is worth a top-50 pick.

3. TE ERICK ALL, IOWA
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 92
Although his game could use a bit more nastiness, this is a player with a versatile, contributing skill set who projects as a TE2 at the next level if he can stay healthy.
Three-year grades and scouting report: Available in the PFF big board
4. TE CADE STOVER, OHIO STATE
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 103
Stover is a well-rounded, well-versed football player whose natural athletic ability and fundamentally sound approach to the position should make him a high-floor role player with TE1 potential.
Three-year grades and scouting report: Available in the PFF big board
5. TE BEN SINNOTT, KANSAS STATE
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 105
Sinnott is a true jack-of-all-trades tight end who can line up in the backfield, on the line of scrimmage and at reciever. His game lacks a true trump card, but he's the type of football player every NFL team wants in their tight end room as a versatile role player.
Three-year grades and scouting report: Available in the PFF big board
6. TE Jared Wiley, TCU
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 108
Wiley has an ideal size/athleticism combination to be a contributing TE2/3 at the next level.
Three-year grades and scouting report: Available in the PFF big board
7. TE THEO JOHNSON, PENN STATE
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 135
Johnson brings alluring size to the position with plus length for blocking and when hauling in passes. He is a developmental tight end who shows runs good vertical routes and thrives when blocking, but he needs to be more consistent in both areas.
Three-year grades and scouting report: Available in the PFF big board
8. TE Jaheim Bell, Florida State
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 155
Bell is undoubtedly a roster depth piece because of the many roles he can play. He needs to develop a better feel for zone coverage as a receiver, and he needs to maintain better blocks.
Three-year grades and scouting report: Available in the PFF big board
9. TE Dallin Holker, Colorado State
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 157
Holker is a well-rounded, versatile tight end who can be a good depth piece to pay in multi-tight end offenses, but he likely lacks the top-tier athleticism to be a TE1.
Three-year grades and scouting report: Available in the PFF big board
10. TE Tip Reiman, Illinois
PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 202
Reiman is a throwback tight end with size and physicality. He is limited as a lateral athlete but has the potential to be a TE2 in an NFL offense that likes bigger tight ends.
