- Alexander played 844 of 933 possible snaps for the Louisville Cardinals in a season that saw him emerge as one of the best cover cornerbacks in the nation. He ended last season with a PFF overall grade of 87.4, ranking No. 5 of 269 qualifying cornerbacks.
- He led his team in interceptions (five), and notched had nine passes defended on 60 targets, which was T-No. 7 among draft-eligible cornerbacks. In coverage, Alexander allowed just 0.79 yards per cover snap, which ranked No. 5 of 31 ACC cornerbacks with at least 240 snaps.
- Heading into 2017, Alexander will look to improve his tackling. Last season, Alexander produced a tackling efficiency of 6.43, which ranked No. 187 of 295 college cornerbacks.
