- Gustin also led that same group of 3-4 outside linebackers in total run stops, as he amassed 28 run stops on 356 snaps against the run (7.9 percent) in 2016.
- Totaling 36 total stops last season, Gustin ranked T-No. 6 among all returning FBS edge defenders.
- Keeping him from having better production, Gustin missed 15 tackles last season, which was tied for the third-most of any FBS edge defender in the nation last season.
