Simmons was targeted eight times in the Bulls' win over Rice and put up some incredible numbers. He caught all eight passes for 272 yards and averaged 9.71 yards per route run on the day.
Defensive Player of the Week: EDGE Jonah Elliss, Utah
Elliss was absolutely dominant for the Utes as they moved to 4-0 on the year with a win over UCLA. From 42 pass-rushing snaps, he racked up four sacks and five hurries. And all five of his tackles resulted in a defensive stop.
Offensive Line of the Week: Louisville
The Louisville starting offensive line combined to allow just four pressures in the win over Boston College, and the team averaged 5.7 yards per carry on the ground. The Cardinals averaged 3.06 of that figure before contact in a devastating display up front.
