Offensive Player of the Week: QB Jayden Daniels, LSU
As a passer, Daniels went 17-for-26 for 372 yards with three touchdowns, four big-time throws and no turnover-worthy plays. That was impressive enough, but he added 234 rushing yards and another two touchdowns as a runner.
Defensive Player of the Week: EDGE Jalen Mcleod, Auburn
McLeod was dominant as a pass-rusher in Auburn’s win over Arkansas. On the field for just nine pass-rushing snaps, he racked up four pressures, including three sacks, and finished the game with seven stops and a forced fumble.
Offensive Line of the Week: Georgia
The Bulldogs didn’t allow any pressure in pass protection in the win over Ole Miss while averaging 9.4 yards per carry on the ground — one of the most dominant games in the trenches by any team in college football this season.
