It could have been a lot worse Sunday, with two of our written picks (GB -7 and TEN -4.5) losing during the early slate and our third (OVER 44.5 in Denver) starting slow. The Denver game picked up, as did one of our two picks of the week (OVER 54 in Seattle). We are now 16-15 on the year, 11-11 on written picks and 5-4 on our podcast picks of the week.
Baltimore Ravens (-3) at Indianapolis Colts
Point (Eric Eager): This game has a fun amount of history attached to it, with the Colts being Baltimore’s first team until they left for Indianapolis in the mid-'80s. The Ravens are reeling a bit, having lost two home games this year — one to Kansas City and now one to Pittsburgh. They were games in which Lamar Jackson did not look like the player who earned the MVP award a season ago. It’s because of this, and some recent wins by the Colts, that you’re getting a decent amount of value here with last year’s No. 1 seed out of the AFC.
