We were 2-0 on written picks in Week 7, and after going 4-0 the past two weeks, our record stands at 10-9 on these. Our pick of the week (CHI +6) is still pending, with our record on them sitting at 4-2 this year. Our picks have done a decent job in terms of getting closing line value, with more than half of a point per pick. We like three games this week, which is the most in a while. Enjoy!

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (-6.5)
Point (Eric Eager): I’m misanthropic about the Minnesota Vikings, but this is interestingly the first time we’ve written about them in this column (they were part of a teaser in Week 1). The Packers, who we backed last week against the Houston Texans, bounced back after a bad loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by throwing to their best player early and often — Davante Adams, who averaged 5.8 yards per route run. An encouraging aspect of their win in Houston was that they were out multiple players, especially in the defensive backfield, and some of those players should be back against the purple.
