Week 17 early spread picks for the 2020 NFL season

We had a rough Week 16, but we still have the Buffalo Bills -0.5 leg of a teaser to salvage something from the slate. Week 17 is always a bit on the rough side in terms of moving on information more than models, but we think there’s some value still to be had, including using Buffalo as the initial leg in a teaser.

Buffalo Bills (-1) at New England Patriots (Monday Night) and Minnesota Vikings (-0.5) at Detroit Lions

Home-field advantage made something of a comeback in Week 16, with teams such as the New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers overshooting their market values. However, this season has been one where road teams have fared extremely well, and we’re going to go to the well with two in this teaser.
