Week 5 NFL odds are live, and the best time to bet them is now — before the lines move. We went 4-1 last week (including our lock of the week, which can be found on the PFF Forecast podcast) with one play left to go on Monday Night Football.
Equally as important, we saw closing line value (the line we bet in this article is better than the closing line with respect to the side we bet) on every single write-up from this article in Week 4.

We’re on to Week 5, which has a number of intriguing options based on early betting odds. All our initial reactions and guessing of the lines can be found on the PFF Forecast, which airs LIVE directly after Sunday Night Football and again Wednesday evening.

Week 5 Best Early NFL Bets
Los Angeles Rams (-1.5) @ Seattle Seahawks
Point (George Chahrouri): The Rams predictably fell short after their huge win against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3. Meanwhile, the Seahawks beat a San Francisco 49ers team that needed to make a quarterback switch midway through the game.
Not only does Sean McVay’s offense torch the Cover 3 Seahawks, but the Rams' defensive stars also thrive against Seattle, with Aaron Donald getting to face an interior offensive line without a player who ranks in the top 40 at their position in PFF grade and Jalen Ramsey battling D.K. Metcalf, who was held to 87 combined yards in two contests last year. The Rams recover from their embarrassing loss to Arizona.
