Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: Under 0.5 interceptions (-116)
Mahomes has been playing mistake-free ball this entire playoffs, which has been a part of why the Chiefs have made it to the Super Bowl. He currently has zero turnover-worthy plays in this year’s playoffs and dating back to 2021, he only has one playoff game where he threw an interception (against the Cincinnati Bengals). In fact, over his last nine playoff games, he only has three turnover-worthy plays, showing his remarkable ability to take care of the ball in the biggest stages.
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers: Under 20.5 completions (+100)
A lot was said about the Chiefs' run defense before they played the Baltimore Ravens, and the Ravens ran the ball four times with their running backs in the first half instead. In a big game like this, I think Kyle Shanahan tries to win the game on the ground early while limitting the amount of throws Purdy makes throughout the game unless the 49ers fall behind early like they have the past two games.
Additionally, the 49ers are one of the best offenses in the league against man coverage. If they produce at the level they have against it all season, they’ll move the ball in chunk yards, reducing the amount of attempts Purdy will have.
