Welp. We had the Green Bay Packers in some way, shape or form in four bets, and they fell short in the NFC Championship game. However, we are still alive with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ensuring that this column has a winning season in 2020 despite losing three more bets than we won (thanks to Washington, really).
The Super Bowl gives rise to a situation where you can hedge if you have one side in the futures market, but again, the question comes down to whether you have an edge on the second bet (or if the money is enough to want to reduce the variance enough to sleep at night).
Below are the bets we’ve made and the ones still pending. We’ll give out some props we like if you don’t want to completely hedge either futures position. Enjoy!
