TE George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
• The Green Bay Packers have really struggled to defend tight ends. This season, the team has earned a 43.9 team coverage grade against the position, the worst mark in the NFL.
• Kittle is one of the very best red-zone weapons in the league. He has the second-highest touchdown total of any tight end over the last three years, having scored 23 times in 45 games.
• The Niners field one of the NFL's best offenses and lead the league in expected points added (EPA) per play. They should have plenty of opportunities to find the end zone in the divisional round, so look for QB Brock Purdy to find the reliable tight end in a favorable matchup.
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
• According to PFF's WR/CB Matchup Tool, no player has a better matchup than Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown this week, as he'll be going up against the very beatable Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary.
• Not only does St. Brown have a terrific matchup, but he is QB Jared Goff‘s most reliable red-zone target. The star receiver boasts a massive 35% share of the red-zone targets and a 34% share of the targets inside the opponents' 10-yard line. Both marks are at the very top of the league.
• In an up-tempo game against a Bucs defense that is far easier to pass against than run against, look for Goff to find his reliable target.
RB Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs
• Isiah Pacheco has produced the most rushing yards over expectation this season. Given his sustained success, the Chiefs have further relied on him, giving him the full-time rushing role.
• Pacheco has a solid matchup against a Bills team that ranks in the bottom quartile in EPA allowed per rush and yards allowed per rush.
• The Bills have also filtered targets to opposing running backs and have allowed the eighth-most targets to the position this season.
• Kansas City frequently targets its running backs in the red zone. Entering the divisional round, Pacheco has the third-most red-zone targets of any running back in the NFL.
• With multiple ways to score, look for Pacheco to capitalize and find the end zone in his newfound role as the clear No. 1 running back in Kansas City.
