The Mountain West got off to a late start in 2020 but still managed to complete a regular season and crown a conference champion.
Nobody expected much out of San Jose State going into the year, but the Spartans made it through the regular season without a loss and knocked off Boise State in the conference championship game. The program gets quarterback Nick Starkel back to continue what feels like a decade-long college career, but Boise State also returns other key pieces.
The Broncos will enter the 2020 campaign as heavy favorites for the conference title. Nevada is also in the mix with its high-powered offense, and there are some long shots in the conference that could also provide value from a betting perspective. Will we see another team rise up like San Jose State did last season, or will chalk prevail this year?
