Week 1 of the 2021 college football season provided endless betting insights, but we still have a lot of questions to answer about the campaign. We will thus continue on our quest to find some betting value in the early season, particularly for teasers and parlays.
It should be noted that parlays and teasers have low percentages to hit and should be bet with some caution. Even if you feel like you are getting value on each individual bet, it takes only one failure for the entire bet to result in a loss.

Teaser
Michigan Wolverines (+0.5) vs. Washington Huskies
Pittsburgh Panthers (+3) vs. Tennessee Volunteers
From Washington's point of view, it's hard to imagine a worse start to a season than a loss to Montana. Offensively, the Huskies struggled to get anything going, grading out at 60.3 (T-97th among 130 FBS teams) against the Grizzlies.
Meanwhile, Michigan cruised in its opener against Western Michigan, posting a 92.2 overall team grade and a 90.8 passing grade. The Wolverines are currently 5.5-point favorites against the Huskies, which means teasing it down by six points gives us a half-point to work with. My model has Michigan winning by north of a touchdown, so this is an easy selection to add in a teaser play.
