Best Week 0 bet: Illinois (+7) vs. Nebraska; Illinois moneyline +205
Nebraska and Illinois kick off the season with a Big Ten contest. Three years into Scott Frost's head coaching tenure, the Nebraska football program has not shown any progress or signs of improvement. Quarterback Adrian Martinez is the Cornhuskers' highest-graded player on offense (78.2), mainly because of his rushing ability (81.4 rush grade) and not his passing (65.1 pass grade).
With the departures of their three best-graded skill position players in tight end Jack Stoll, multi-position athlete Wan’Dale Robinson and running back Dedrick Mills, it made sense for the Cornhuskers to add immediate contributors via the transfer portal. Robinson had 51 receptions, 46 carries, and 701 offensive yards of production that will need to be replaced.
