There’s no better way to enjoy the 2021 NFL Draft than to have some skin in the game. NFL Draft player props are a blast, and I’ll be unveiling my favorites to wager on ahead of Thursday night's action.
Last year, I hit on Andrew Thomas as the first tackle drafted (+550), Henry Ruggs III as the first wide receiver drafted (+350) and Jeffrey Okudah as the No. 3 overall pick (+125). Plus-money odds are way more fun and my specialty.
So, let's jump in and explore enticing draft props for the 2021 NFL Draft.

Arizona Cardinals‘ first draft pick
Offensive Player (+110)
I’m not sure what the deal is behind this betting line because all indications point to the Arizona Cardinals being far more likely to draft an offensive player than a defensive player. Yet, the odds favor the defensive side of the ball (-150).
The Cardinals’ major needs on defense include interior defensive line and cornerback, but they addressed both positions in free agency with the acquisitions of J.J. Watt and Malcolm Butler.
Selecting interior lineman Christian Barmore or cornerback Greg Newsome II at No. 16 would be a reach. Neither cornerback Jaycee Horn nor cornerback Patrick Surtain II is going to available at No. 16. I’ve drafted a wide receiver to Arizona in both mocks I’ve done because it makes way more sense that an offensive-minded head coach like Kliff Kingsbury would lean in that direction.
Kingsbury needs to add more offensive playmakers — don’t get me started on A.J. Green — to ensure that Kyler Murray takes another step forward in Year 3.
I’d argue that the Cardinals’ head coach is on the hot seat entering his third season. He can’t afford to pass on more offensive weaponry.
