Hey football fans! Here are five things you need to know from yesterday to start off your Tuesdays:

  1. PFF released their list of each team's secret superstars. Senior NFL Analyst Sam Monson broke down the list of the best players from every team that don't get their due. While the list included nearly every offensive and defensive position, what stood out was the amount of defensive backs on the list. It may be a “passing league” these days, but there are plenty of defensive backs out there doing a great job.
  2. RB Matt Jones hired a new agent. The speculation is Drew Rosenhaus is expected to help Jones get his release from Washington. Jones was very successful on outside zone runs last year, and he could definitely build his value if he found a team that runs a lot of zone.
  3. QB DeShone Kizer is closing the gap on Cody Kessler. He has reportedly impressed the Browns this offseason. The 52nd overall pick will likely press Kessler for playing time with the starters in the preseason. PFF Fantasy's Jeff Ratclife believes that the Browns skill position players would have higher fantasy ceilings with the rookie signal caller.
  4. WR Sammy Watkins believes the 2014 wide receiver draft class is going to change the market for pass catchers. He believes that receivers should be paid more and that the guys from the 2014 draft will make that happen. With names like Mike Evans, Kelvin Benjamin, Brandin Cooks, and of course Odell Beckham Jr., he very well could be right about that.
  5. How does having a superflex change how you should draft your fantasy team? Well, if PFF's mock draft of a superflex league is any indication, it means the value of quarterbacks goes way up. In a 12-team league, no fewer than 32 quarterbacks were drafted by our fantasy staff. Round one did not change all that much, showing that the top fantasy assets usually remain the top guys regardless of scoring or roster systems.
