• After finishing the 2013 season well, Geno Smith really struggled again throughout 2014. It's now fair to question if he can be the answer at quarterback for the Jets, but as it stands right now he would remain the starter.
• Eric Decker might not have been great in 2014, but he definitely showed that he can be a good receiver away from the talent of Peyton Manning. Dealing with sub-par quarterback play, he still delivered a solid showing.
• The stength of the Jets defense is upfront, where Richardson and Wilkerson have both pushed themselves amongst the Elite players in the league. Harrison is purely a run defender, put he is very good at it, with 2013 a highlight in that regard.
• Cornerback Dee Milliner is a tough player to work out. We've seen him play, but injuries have limited his career thus far. After a rough start he's been solid when he's been heathy so it's tough to see him as anything other than average at this point.
Team Needs
Right Guard: The strength of the offensive line is definitely on the left, with right guard a problem at this point in time for the Jets. Willie Colon struggled last year and is a free agent, but his departure would likely see Brian Winters starting as things stand. It would be surprising to see the team not address this in free agency.
Right Tackle: Not quite as desperate as the need at right guard, but Breno Giacomini is a Below Average starter at this point. There are plenty of right tackles available in free agency this year too, so it's a good year to find an upgrade.
Inside Linebacker: Demario Davis had a solid year last year and likely keeps a starting spot in 2015, but who starts next to him is a big question mark. Mario Harvey has actually played more on offense is special situations than he has on defense recently, so look for the team to add a couple of players to compete here.
