Notes
• Have we been generous with Andrew Hawkins? Some would say so, but if you're looking for a slot receiver, there are few better than him, with plenty of eye popping highlight reel plays to showcase that.
• While many have questioned the Browns two first round draft picks, they appear to have hit big time on guard Joel Bitoni. The rookie set the tone early in his career and had a big rookie season. If he repeats that it will be hard to keep him out of the elite group of guards for very long.
• At inside linebacker, both Craig Robertson and Chris Kirksey had similar quality seasons, so why the difference in their rating? Well, Robertson had plenty of struggles in the two years before, while Kirksey was solid as a rookie, so we want to see Robertson prove it again in 2015.
• K'Waun Williams is another interesting young player on the Browns roster, with an impressive rookie season on limited snaps. Can he unseat Justin Gilbert for a starting role at some point in the future?
Team Needs
Quarterback: Is Johnny Manziel the answer? It's tough to tell given how little we saw of him in 2014, but it seems dangerous to head into 2015 with two unknown quantities at quarterback. Maybe they bring back Brian Hoyer, or perhaps look to another free agent. Even if Manziel somehow does earn the starting job, it is essential the team finds a quality backup to say the least.
Wide Receiver: Josh Gordon is as talented a receiver as you'll find in the league, but he's simply not going to be a factor in 2015. Clearly this is a team that needs help at the receiver position this year, so finding someone in free agency or the draft makes a lot of sense.
Tight End: Will they be able to keep Jordan Cameron? If not that leaves Jim Dray and Gary Barnidge as the only tight ends on the roster. Neither have proven that they can be solid starters with enough playing time, so they'll need to replace Cameron if they don't re-sign him.
