The best way to ruin a fantasy draft is to overvalue — and therefore overdraft — all of the wrong players. You’ll want to take some risks during your draft, but if you overdo it, there’s a good chance you’ll end up with a team filled with duds.

To help you out on draft day, this article will reveal some of the most overvalued players at every position heading into the 2016 season. To be clear, this is not a list of players to avoid in fantasy drafts. It’s a list of players to avoid at their current price.

Let’s get to it.

Quarterbacks

Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars
ADP: QB9; PFF Rank: QB13

Blake Bortles finished 2015 as the No. 4 fantasy quarterback, and it would be unfair to say he didn’t deserve it. He threw for 35 touchdowns — tied for second in the league — and an impressive 4,428 yards. He also threw a touchdown in all but one game (Week 17).

But Bortles’ 2015 campaign comes with a huge caveat: The Jaguars were playing catch-up in nearly every game. In fact, Bortles was third among all quarterbacks last season in terms of number of garbage-time snaps taken. As a result. Bortles ended up throwing a league-leading 14 touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
