Position fit: Center

Stats to know: Played 1,043 snaps in 2016, third-most among the nation’s centers. Played over 1,000 snaps in each of the last three seasons.

What he does best:

Athletic with good frame.
Nice feet with fluid movements in space.
Good on double teams and then working up to second level.
Good job keeping hands tight to his body to stay engaged on blocks.
Exhibits some raw talent on film.

Biggest concern:

Allows defensive tackles to get into his chest at times and gets pushed back.
Loses balance on blocks.
Big transition from Baylor’s scheme to an NFL offense.
Over extended in pass protection, causing him to be out of position to block rusher.
Poor fundamentals in run and pass blocking.
Led all centers with 17 penalties in 2016.
Graded poorly for the season with a negative run grade and struggled mightily in the Senior Bowl.

Bottom line: Fuller is a tough prospect to evaluate because playing in Baylor’s unorthodox offense, he was not able to display his potential or talent will transfer to the NFL like other centers who played in a more conventional offense. Fuller’s productivity and overall grades were below average for all centers and on film you can see why. He struggles to hold blocks, gets beat in pass protection, and in his only audition playing in pro-style offense at the Senior Bowl, he struggled in the limited action he received. Fuller has a good build and does exhibit some good tangibles (moves well and is good at working to second level). However, Fuller does not overwhelm physically and the concerns of his game and development outweigh his potential. Fuller has an uphill battle to make a roster.
