Steelers get new backup QB, draft Joshua Dobbs

With the 135th overall pick in the NFL draft Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected QB Joshua Dobbs out of Tennessee.
Dobbs’ 105.7 QB rating when under pressure in 2016 ranked third among draft-eligible quarterbacks.
He ranked 25th among 151 qualified FBS QBs in 2016 with a 78.3 overall grade; he ranked seventh with a 90.6 running grade.
Dobbs ranked 14th in the draft class with a 72.5 adjusted completion percentage.
He ranked third in the class with a 55.8 adjusted completion percentage on balls traveling at least 20 yards in the air.
