Player to watch for Georgia: CB Kamari Lassiter (84.3 PFF Grade)
Georgia's secondary is brimming with talent, but Lassiter could be the best of the bunch. He is the sixth-ranked cornerback prospect on PFF's big board and has played the most snaps of any Georgia defender.
Lassiter's profile paints a picture of an elite player, including an 86.0 coverage grade and a low 37.5% catch rate into his coverage that has resulted in a 50.0 passer rating for opposing quarterbacks.
Player to watch for Florida State: QB Brock Glenn (48.5 PFF Grade)
Second-string quarterback Tate Rodemaker entered the transfer portal earlier this week, opening the door once again for Brock Glenn — who started against Louisville in the ACC Championship game. Glenn struggled mightily in that outing, completing only 38% of his passes for 55 yards, which resulted in a 39.3 PFF passing grade.
It’s going to take a miraculous effort from Glenn and the Seminoles' offense to take down the two-time defending champs. It will be an even greater challenge with most of his weapons having opted out.
Keys to a Georgia victory
Georgia is favored by 14.5 points in this game — one of the largest spreads of the 2023 bowl season. It is not clear yet who else will opt out for the Bulldogs, but they will luckily have Carson Beck under center, which should be enough to get the win against a depleted Florida State team.

Keys to a Florida State victory
While Florida State was deemed unworthy of a College Football Playoff appearance after star quarterback Jordan Travis' season-ending injury, the team still gets a tremendous opportunity against the defending national champions.
Many won't give the Seminoles a chance, and that is exactly why they should go into this game with a chip on their shoulder, ready to shock the world. It’s going to take a truly special performance out of their third-string quarterback, but anything can happen in college football.
