Offensive Player Spotlight: G Clay Webb, Jacksonville State

Webb was a PFF second-team All-American this season, as his 89.9 grade was more than five points better than the next-closest FBS guard. The former five-star recruit was also the only guard in the nation to earn 85.0-plus pass-blocking and run-blocking grades. He allowed only one pressure across 300 pass-blocking snaps for an FBS-leading 0.3% pressure rate allowed.

Defensive Player Spotlight: CB Willie Roberts, Louisiana Tech

Simply put, Roberts’ coverage numbers this season were absurd. He allowed only 16 catches on 45 targets while also forcing 17 incompletions, tied for the second most in the country. 

Offensive Line Spotlight: UTEP Miners

This shouldn’t be a surprise, considering three of UTEP’s offensive linemen made the All-Conference USA first team, but the Miners were dominant up front this season. Their 80.9 unit grade ranked fifth in college football, and they were one of only four offensive lines to earn 80.0-plus pass-blocking and run-blocking grades.
